Library

Over the summer break our Facilities and IT teams gets to work preparing SJS for the next school year. Here's what they've been up to this summer.

Author and Illustrator Mike Deas joins our Grades 2–4 for an interactive workshop during Canadian Children's Book Week.

The library was abuzz with a visit from non-fiction children’s author Tanya Lloyd Kyi, who guided the Junior School students through a series of interactive workshops, bringing life to creative writing, history and science combined.

Relive the joy of World Read Aloud Day with this gallery of photos from the Junior School, when special guest storytellers and professional authors brought the magic of books to life.

Over the past week, the Junior School library turned into a writing workshop with the younger students working with our first PYP Writer-in-Residence, award-winning author and illustrator, Darren Lebeuf.

Friday, April 4 turned the page to another chapter in our annual Book Swap—an idea that, five years later, has become a favourite tradition in the SJS community.
