Over the past week, the Junior School library turned into a writing workshop with the younger students working with our first PYP Writer-in-Residence, award-winning author and illustrator, Darren Lebeuf.
Grade 3 students welcomed Indigenous Educational Storyteller, Alysha Collie, from 3 Crows Productions for an engaging and hands-on workshop on Coast Salish art.
As she supports our IB DP artists with their final preparations ahead of their exhibition on March 5, we sat down with our Senior School art teacher Ms. Mehrer to hear her journey from rural BC to global exploration as an artist and educator and how she has been shaped by the diverse cultures she has encountered along the way.
