This week, Annual Giving was celebrated with heartfelt words and cheerful voices as a group of dedicated Student Ambassadors from Grades 8 and 9 picked up the phones for our annual Thank-A-Thon. On Wednesday evening, they reached out to personally thank parents and community members for their generous support of the school and programs.
Together, our students made an impressive 236 calls—in English, Mandarin and Farsi—sharing their appreciation and highlighting the difference Annual Giving makes across our school.
Our sincere thanks to Amelia Jeffery, Alicia Lee, Nicole Ni, Tanya Norani, Amelia Wells, and Rayi Zou for lending their time and enthusiasm to this meaningful initiative, and for being wonderful representatives of the school.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach everyone and some calls went to voicemail. We hope you have had a chance to pick up your message!
Our student volunteers also took the opportunity to remind our Founders Circle members about the Reception on Thursday, May 8 at Point Grey Golf Course, please reach out to Trish Richards at trichards@sjs.ca if you have any questions about the event.
