House Tree Decorating Contest
Back by popular demand! House trees will be in various locations of the school ready for your decorations
- Merritt Tree: Beside the Student Council Notice Board
- McGill Tree: Second Floor Beside the Elevator
- Gunn Tree: In the Concession Beside the Microwaves
- Hutchison Tree: In the Alcove Near the Drama Room
Used Toy Drive
Help brighten the lives of in-need children by donating to the used toy drive. Bring your gently used toys such as Lego, figurines, stuffies, books, dolls, trucks, board games and more. Drop off your items in the donation boxes which are next to the house trees. Donations will benefit the Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.
Santa Grams
Surprise your friends and teachers with a Santagram! It’s the perfect way to spread holiday cheer and make someone’s day merry and bright. Santagrams are $2 and will include sweet treats and a personalized message. Sales will take place in the Senior School lobby during recess and lunch. All proceeds will be donated to the Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver, bring cash!
Themed Dress Days
- Monday: Rhyme Without Reason – Dress up with a friend in words that rhyme. Examples: Bumblebee & Referee, FBI & Butterfly, DJ & PJ.
- Tuesday: Famous Figures – Dress up as your favourite celebrity, movie character or athlete. Characters should have had a positive influence in society.
- Wednesday: Christmas Cozy – Come in Christmas themed pyjamas (red, green, flannel, onesies).
- Thursday: Throwback Thursday – Wear fashion from your favourite era.
- Friday: Festive Friday – Wear your casual red, green or white clothes. Ugly Christmas sweaters are welcome!
