Monday evening brought together Grade 7, 8 and some Grade 10 students to showcase their learnings at the STEAM Fair, as they shared their projects that took a deep dive into a variety of fascinating topics.
The event provided students with the opportunity to explore and present their work to their peers, teachers and parents, demonstrating how they applied their knowledge and research. Some projects focused on environmental sustainability, while others delved into the realms of geometry and even sign language. The fair allowed students to make meaningful connections between the subjects they study and real-world applications, sharing their learnings and extensive research with parents and members of Science department staff.
The Science department will make their final decisions to select which projects will represent SJS at the Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair later this year, so watch this space!
