Grade 10 are learning about Canadian politics in I&S and this week welcomed The Honourable Brenda Bailey (MLA for False Creek) for a Q&A session where they were able to ask her all about provincial legislature, elections and more.
In the engaging session Brenda’s answers to the thoughtful questions asked by our students helped them to expand on their knowledge and the foundation of what they have been learning in the classroom. With real-life examples and insights into the world of politics from someone in the midst of it, it was incredibly beneficial to the students and will stay in their mind as they continue to study and delve more into the world of Canadian politics.
