A Sweet Start to the Final Year

The Class of 2026 began their graduating year with the SJS tradition of a pancake breakfast, hosted by our dedicated parent volunteers. In the Gunn Gym, students reconnected after summer break—swapping stories, laughing with friends, and enjoying a hearty serving of maple syrup alongside Senior School faculty.

A highlight of the morning was the opening of letters students had written to their future selves during their MYP journey—a moment filled with surprise, laughter and a few happy tears. Head of School, Mr. Blayne Addley, then presented each Grade 12 with their grad tie, pin and sweater, officially marking the start of their final year at SJS.
