The fall sports season is entering championships and playoffs over the next few weeks!

Cross Country

Our Grade 3–7 cross country runners concluded their season on Tuesday at the ISEA Championships. The rain on Tuesday morning made for a muddy day, but students from 15 ISABC schools battled through and competed against each other. SJS had several runners place in the top 15 in their respective age group races. Congratulations to all on a great season.

On Wednesday, our Senior Boys and Senior Girls ran in the Vancouver Sea-to-Sky Zone championships at Jericho Park. Emi Garlappi was the top girls finisher and Rohan Chadha was top boys finisher amongst all ‘A’ tier runners. Congratulations to both teams on qualifying for the ‘A’ BCSS Provincial Championships on Saturday, November 2.

Volleyball

The Grade 6 Girls Volleyball team (pictured) concluded their season on Monday with the annual ISEA PlayDay at Harry Jerome Centre in Burnaby where a fun time was had by all!

Good luck to our Junior Girls and Senior Girls Volleyball teams who are playing in their ISAA Tournaments this Friday and Saturday.
