On Wednesday, the governors held the SJS St. John’s School Society AGM. The Co-Chairs, Grant Christoff and Gloria Leong-Sit, celebrated the outstanding programs offered to our students, Head of School, Blayne Addley spoke to our dedicated faculty, and Treasurer, Bryan Yu, outlined the school’s strong financial standing.
Three governors completed their service to the Board. We express our gratitude to them for their commitment and contributions to the SJS community:
Laura Jeffery
Laura served on the Board since 2020. She was on the Advancement Committee and Endowment Fund Investment Committee. Laura was instrumental in updating our endowment fund policies and providing communication regarding tax-efficient philanthropic support.
Natasha Prodan-Bhalla
Natasha served on the board since 2017 on the Risk Committee. During the pandemic, her expertise was invaluable to our response planning. Her guidance helped us provide a safe and stable environment for our students. Natasha’s two children graduate from the school, Maya ’23 and Leila ’25.Â
Allan Russell
Allan served on the board since 2020. He was on the Risk Management Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. Allan’s questions consistently sparked deep discussion.
