The spirit of community and tradition was alive and well last night as SJS hosted its annual Alumni Winter Social at the Tap and Barrel on Granville Island.
Former students from near and far gathered to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate the lasting bonds formed during their time at the school. The gathering brought together recent graduates, as well as those who graduated as far back as the Class of 2000, alongside many faculty and former faculty members who were also in attendance to catch-up on what some of their students have been up to since graduating.
During the evening, the Alumni Association Executive gave a short presentation to highlight some of the activities that have occurred this year, including the launch of the mentorship program, Lunch and Learn sessions and the Alumni Tour East. In early 2025, the AAE will be hosting their next Lunch and Learn, so watch this space for more details on that!
The evening was filled with laughter, storytelling and a warm sense of camaraderie as our alumni reconnected with old friends and made new connections. There was a great turnout from members of the Class of 2014 who are celebrating their 10-year milestone this year.
Thank you to all who attended and made this event such a memorable success! We look forward to seeing you all again next year for even more fun and celebration.
