A Warm Welcome to SJS

On November 6, new SJS parents gathered at the UBC University Golf Club for a warm and lively evening of connection and community. The night began with conversation and laughter as parents shared stories from their families’ first term at SJS. Joining them were members of our faculty, Senior Leadership Team, Board of Governors and Parent Association.

Guests enjoyed inspiring words from Student Council members Chloe Chen and Veronica Cheung, who spoke about how SJS has shaped their personal growth and their favourite memories. Board Co-Chair Gloria Leong-Sit reflected on the strength of the SJS community and the important role the Board plays in guiding the school’s future. Michael Wu, Governor and member of the Advancement Committee, shared in both English and Mandarin about the power of Annual Giving and the meaningful difference it makes in our children’s education.

Head of School, Mr. Addley, closed the evening by highlighting how an SJS education nurtures lifelong learners and confident young adults, prepared to thrive at university and beyond.

Thank you to all who joined us for a heartfelt evening celebrating new beginnings.
